Nate Heckman
Nate Heckman is a consultant at Resource Refocus LLC on a per-project basis. He is a Visiting Lecturer at the Rochester Institute of Technology, and has expertise in architectural design and construction, passive and low-energy design, and building resiliency and adaptation, as they relate to the climate crisis. Nate also worked as a member of the University at Buffalo's Resilient Buildings Lab and spent six years in professional architectural practice, where he helped lead sustainability efforts, and honed his expertise in architectural detailing and knowledge of construction. He has a Master of Architecture and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the School of Architecture and Planning at the University at Buffalo (UB).
